How This Site Makes Money
BioHackBuyer is free to read and always will be. Some of our product links are affiliate links. When you buy through one, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Here is exactly how that works, and why it does not change what we recommend.
The short version
When you click a product link on this site and end up buying something from the destination retailer (often a brand directly, sometimes Amazon), we may earn a small commission if that link is an affiliate link. You pay nothing extra. The price you see is the same price you would pay if you found the product on your own.
Our affiliate partners
BioHackBuyer plans to participate in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and in direct brand affiliate programs. Where a link is an affiliate link, we mark or tag it so you can tell. We may also link to a brand or retailer without an affiliate relationship when the product earns its place on the merits.
Some products we recommend do not have an affiliate program at all. We include them anyway when the evidence supports it.
How this affects (and does not affect) what we write
Our rankings are not for sale. No brand can pay to be at the top of a guide. No brand can pay us to remove an unflattering mention of a competitor. We say so when a top pick does not have an affiliate link, and we sometimes recommend products that earn us nothing because the evidence points that way.
Affiliate income keeps the site running. It does not buy influence over what we recommend. If you find our guides useful, using our links is one way to support the work. It is never required, and it never changes what we say.
A note on medical claims
Some products in the biohacking space are marketed with health claims that range from well-supported to outright unproven. We try to flag the difference clearly in our guides. If a manufacturer makes a health claim that the published evidence does not support, we will say so. If the evidence is mixed, we will say that too.
