Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information BioHackBuyer collects, how we use it, and what choices you have. We've written it in plain language because legal boilerplate rarely helps anyone make a real decision.

- Some outbound links on our site are affiliate links. When you click them and make a purchase, the destination retailer (for example Amazon) may set cookies on your browser. We do not control those cookies.
- We don't sell your personal information. We don't share it with third parties except where required to deliver a service you signed up for (for example, sending you email).
Information we collect
Information you give us
The only place on BioHackBuyer where you actively give us information is the email signup form. If you subscribe, we store the email address you provide plus the timestamp of your signup.
Information collected automatically
When you visit BioHackBuyer, basic technical information is logged by our hosting provider (Vercel). This typically includes your IP address, browser type, referring page, and timestamps. This data is used for security, abuse prevention, and aggregate traffic analysis.
If you accept Google Analytics in the consent banner, Google Analytics 4 also collects aggregated page-view data, referring source, and approximate geographic region (city-level, not precise). We use this to understand which guides are being read and which need updating. Google Analytics 4 uses cookies for this. Cookies and affiliate links
Some outbound links on BioHackBuyer are affiliate links, including links to Amazon and to direct brand programs. When you click an affiliate link and reach the retailer's site, that retailer may set cookies in your browser to attribute the purchase to us. We do not control those cookies, and the retailer's own privacy policy governs the data they collect. If you want to avoid affiliate-based tracking, the simplest approach is to navigate to the retailer's site directly rather than clicking through our link.
How we use your information
If you provide your email, we use it to send you notifications when we publish new guides and significant updates. We do not use your email for any other purpose, and we do not share it with third parties.
Aggregate, non-identifying traffic data from our hosting provider is used to understand which guides are being read and to improve the site. If you have accepted Google Analytics, that aggregate data supplements the hosting-provider data.
Your choices and rights
Change your analytics choice
To change your Google Analytics consent, clear your browser's local storage for this site. The consent banner will reappear on your next visit and you can choose again. The local storage key is named biohackbuyer:consent.
Unsubscribe from email
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Clicking it removes your address from our list immediately. You can also email us directly to request removal.
Access, correction, and deletion
You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it entirely. Email us at the address listed below and we will respond within 30 days.
Cookies and browser controls
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. You can usually find these controls under Settings, Privacy, or Security. Blocking cookies will not prevent you from using BioHackBuyer, but it may affect how sites you visit through our affiliate links work.
Children's privacy
BioHackBuyer is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top and, where appropriate, notify subscribers by email. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
